    NORMAN, Okla. - Seven members of the top-ranked Oklahoma men's gymnastics team (8-0) are set to compete in the Winter Cup Challenge on Friday-Saturday, Feb, 8-9, in Las Vegas, Nev. Gymnasts will be vying for two spots on the U.S. National Team on Friday and Winter Cup all-around and event titles on Saturday at The Sports Center in the All American Sports Park. The two-day event begins at 5:30 p.m. CST on Friday with another round of competition starting at 10 p.m., while the finals start at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.

    The six Oklahoma gymnasts who will be competing include Daniel Furney, Jock Stevens, David Henderson, Josh Landis, Josh Gore and Heath Mueller. OU assistant coach Guard Young, who was a member of the silver medal-winning U.S. National Team last year, will also be competing.

    The Sooners are back in action with team competiton on Saturday, Feb. 16, against defending national champion Ohio State and Illinois, in Columbus, Ohio.
