Norman, Okla. - The Big 12 Conference announced today that Oklahoma's LaNeishea Caufield and Iowa State's Lindsey Wilson were voted the league's Co-Women's Basketball Player of the Week after having stellar performances last week.

Caufield led the third-ranked Sooners to a pair of wins against SMU, 91-70, and Montana State, 86-62. She averaged 29.5 points per game and shot 72.4 percent from the field, hitting 21-of-29 attempts. The 5-9 senior guard also nailed 16-of-16 free throws for the week improving her streak to 23-straight free throws made. Caufield added seven assists, six steals and 11 rebounds to her totals while playing 35 minutes per outing.

She scored a game- and then season-high 26 points against SMU, including hitting 10-of-10 from the foul line. Caufield also had five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Against Montana State, the Ada, Okla., native recorded a career- and game-high 33 points, moving her to third on OU's all-time scoring list (1,685 points). She connected on 13-of-15 shots for a season-best 86.7 field goal percentage. Caufield also recorded season-highs of 13 made field goals and five assists against the Bobcats. She has led the Sooners in scoring six times this season, including the last five games.

Wilson scored a career-high 28 points at No. 24 Drake, sinking a career-best 11 shots and added eight assists, five rebounds and two steals with just two turnovers in 38 minutes of action. The 5-9 junior guard from Seattle, Wash., scored 23 points at Northwestern, draining 6-of-6 free throws and 3-of-4 treys. Wilson also dished a season-high 10 assists and collected a career-best five steals at Northwestern while playing all 40 minutes for the second time in her career.

Kansas State's Laurie Koehn was named the Rookie of the Week.
