OU Heads To Dallas For Red River Classic

Coming off a sensational first place showing at the Windon Memorial Classic, the 19th-ranked Oklahoma men's golf team will be heading to Dallas, Texas, on Oct. 9-10 to compete in the 13th Annual 2000 Taylor Made Red River Tournament.

The Projected Starting Lineup

Kelsey Cline (Sr., Yukon, Okla.) - Making the 37th start of his career at Oklahoma . . . shot a score of 223 (+7) at the Windon Memorial to finish tied for 23rd . . . finished tied for 19th at the Inverness Intercollegiate marking his first top-20 finish since tying for 11th at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate last Spring . . . kept the Sooners in contention on the first day of the Inverness shooting a team-low score of 73 . . . shot a season-low round of 72 on the last day of competition . . . finished tied for 42nd at the Ridges Intercollegiate.

Matt Cohn (So., LaJolla, Calif.) - His 10th start as a Sooner, Cohn finished tied for fourth place at the Windon Memorial . . . it was his second top-five finish of the season . . . fired his lowest round of the season (69) in the second round . . . currently boasts the best scoring average for OU this season at 72.44 . . . tied senior Kelsey Cline to finish in 19th overall at the Inverness . . . it was his second top-20 finish of the season . . . led OU at the Ridges Intercollegiate tying for third at four under par (212) after shooting a final-round score of 72 . . . the only Sooner to make the cut at the 2000 NCAA Championships last season . . . finished tied for 38th shooting 287 in four rounds of play.
