Since starting the season at 1-2, the Tigers are 7-1 and ranked No. 25 in one of the four soccer polls (Soccer Times).  The Tigers are 3-1 in conference play (tied for second place) after topping Colorado, 1-0, and Texas Tech, 2-0, last weekend at home.

The Jayhawks started 2008 with five consecutive wins but have struggled in the last seven games with a 3-4 mark.  Last weekend at home, Kansas downed Texas Tech, 2-0, before it suffered a 2-0 defeat to then-No. 17 Colorado.
