Senior Kristen Cox...
This week went by extremely fast, but everyone is still doing just fine in and out of the gym. We had our second inter-squad Thursday and the team did very well for this point in time. We all had our little mistakes, but overall we are way ahead of where we were this time last year, especially our difficulty in skills. This week was also very sad because Thursday was Jenny's last day in the gym before she gets ready to give birth to baby Emma. Yeah, I know we will all miss her while she is gone. We will all be praying for her while she still has a few days left till she delivers. Everyone is extremely excited about going home for Thanksgiving as well. I know I have missed my family and loved ones. Another exciting event is it will be Brittney and Mark’s first Thanksgiving as a married couple. Congrats to both of them! Only one more day in the gym before we all get ready to head home. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Junior Tiffany Willin...
This week has just been extraordinary. We still have all our school work that needs to be done and we are still stressing about all of it. We continue to have practice every day where we are just doing a lot of repetition. But it doesn't matter because right now we have one thing in sight and that is Thanksgiving Break. We are all so excited to go home and get a break from the hectic life here at school. But nevertheless this past week we had our second inter-squad of this year and it was great! We really did some great gymnastics and are throwing some incredible skills. Since I've been here this is the first time I have seen one of my teammates do a double-layout on the floor in November and our freshman Haley did just that. It was awesome. We were all very high spirited and had a great time. Alright that’s it for this week, I hope everyone has a safe and fun Thanksgiving Break. Boomer Sooner!
