Norman, Okla. - The Big 12 Conference announced today that Oklahoma's Stacey Dales was voted the league's Women's Basketball Player of the Week after having stellar performances last week. Dales led the third-ranked Sooners to a pair of home wins against Texas Christian, 76-60, and Wichita State, 89-68. The 6-0 senior guard averaged 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 2.0 steals and shot 61.9 percent from the field (13-of-21). OU is one of eight teams ranked in AP's top 25 to boast a flawless record, 7-0.

Dales became the Big 12's and Oklahoma's all-time assists leader against TCU, passing Texas Tech's Melinda Schmucker. She scored 14 points in the first half on 5-for-5 field goal and 3-for-4 free throw shooting. She also grabbed eight first-half rebounds and ended the night with 11 boards. Witha total 21 points and 11 rebounds,Dales notched her firstdouble-double of the season and the 10th of her career. She also shot 70 percent from the field.

Against Wichita State, the Brockville, Ontario, Canada, native dished out 10 assists, increasing her Big 12 assist record of 615. She also scored 18 points and shot 55.0 percent from the field (6-of-11) and 75.0 percent from the foul line (6-of-8).

Nebraska's Keasha Cannon was voted the Rookie of the Week.
