OU Women's Basketball Welcomes Ada to LNC

Norman, Okla. - The third-ranked University of Oklahoma women's basketball program is please to announce that Saturday, Feb. 16, will be "Ada Day" at the Lloyd Noble Center. The Sooners will be hosting Nebraska in a Big 12 showdown at 4 p.m. Fans will come in support of Ada natives and OU stars LaNeishea Caufield, a senior, and Caton Hill, a junior.

All Ada residents are encouraged to pick up discounted tickets for Saturday's game from Lauren Stephens at York and Associates (580-332-0744) or Vicki Mapp at Prepaid Legal Services (580-436-7455) located Ada. Tickets must be picked up by Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m. and will be based on availability.

The two-time defending Big 12 champions currently ranks third in the Associated Press and fourth in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Polls. The Sooners boast an overall record of 20-2 and Big 12 mark of 10-1. Caufield leads the Sooners with 18.7 points per game. Hill tops the team with 7.2 rebounds per contest. Both have surpassed the 1,000-point mark in their Sooner career. Caufield has scored 1,911 points while Hill has registered 1,032 career points. Caufield, a 5-8 guard, became OU's all-time steals leader last season and captured the Sooners' all-time records for most free throws attempted and free throws made this season. Hill currently ranks among OU's all-time greats in six categories, including career rebounds and most three-pointers made.

NOTE: These discounted tickets are not good for admission to Oklahoma's men's game against Kansas State at 12:45 p.m. that same day (Feb. 16).
