NORMAN, Okla.-- The University of Oklahoma women's golf team finished ninth at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Sunday.  The Sooners shot a final-round 312 (+28) for a three-round 944 (+92).  Host Michigan (+54) held on for a two-stroke win over Ohio State (+56) at the 6,098-yard, par-71 U-M Golf Course.

Sophomore Kendall Dye and senior Kelly Jacques both shot 230 (+17) for the tournament to pace the Sooners.  They finished in a tie for 20th place.  Jacques, who improved throughout the tournament by turning in rounds of 79, 76 and 75, has now posted top-20 finishes in each of her three fall tournaments.

Dye, who started Sunday's round in a tie for 27th, carded the lowest third round for the Sooners with a 74 (+3).

Senior Jaclyn Stelzer shot consistently throughout the weekend, carding rounds of 80, 80 and 79. The Allen, Texas, native finished in tie for 38th place. 

Redshirt freshman Ryanne Elmer, who competed individually, finished 28-over par in her first collegiate tournament appearance, good for 42nd place. Senior Megan Goodwin tied for 52nd after shooting a final-round 84 (+13). True freshman Andrea Sellmeyer finished 55th after shooting a three-round 248 (+35).

Michigan's Brianna Broderick and Ohio State's Dana Je battled for medalist honors late Sunday afternoon.  Broderick won on the third playoff hole, making par. Both finished the tournament at 222 (+9).

OU will return to action Monday, Oct. 16, when it competes in Las Cruces, N.M., at the Price's "Give Em' Five" Invitational.
