Head Coach K.J. Kindler:
On the team's overall performance:
"We had a great meet, I thought we had momentum from the very beginning.  It was a great performance from top to bottom and I was so excited about the fans as well."

On building momentum from the beginning:
"We were a little rough at the beginning of floor.  We had to work out some jitters, but I think towards the middle of the lineup everyone started feeling a little bit more comfortable and kind of got into a niche. I thought we took a lot of enthusiasm over to vault.  I think it was maybe the best vault performance, even though our very best vaulter was a little bit off tonight.  From top to bottom it was probably our best vault performance of the year."

On the team's season-high-tying bar score:
"Bars was phenomenal. As you know we were coming off a little bit of a rough performance at Big 12s that kind of kept us from a championship there.  So this has been a focus area for the last few weeks.  They did a phenomenal job, it was great, I couldn't have asked for more."

On ending the meet on beam:
"Going over to beam, it's very difficult to end on beam when you're in a meet of this nature.  Since no one else was done at that time, you just don't know what you have to do to qualify on.  They did a great job, again, we had a few jitters in there.  I think just a little bit of nervousness knowing what was on the line.  We had a couple unusual mistakes but the end of the lineup kind of picked it up again and we were good to go. "

On working on the team's chemistry throughout the week:
"To be honest, it's kind of odd in this part of the season. It's the only time during the whole season that you have a weekend off in between these two meets.  They're used to competing last weekend and they didn't.  That did mess with us a little bit at the beginning of the week and we had to come together after a couple rough practices.  We had to remind each other that `we know how to do this.' We worked through some rough spots, we definitely did leading up to this meet.  Going to nationals we don't have that vacant weekend, we do, but we get out there a lot quicker.  I think the training leading up to nationals will be a lot different from the time between Big 12s and regionals."

Sophomore Natasha Kelley
On the team's mentality going into the meet:
"I think going into this meet we had a lot of confidence.  It's hard coming off of a loss like last week.  I think we were kind of uptight at Big 12s and it just taught us how to relax and how to be confident.  It was very motivating. Our overall mindset from the beginning, we knew we had to start out hot and I think that's what we did.  We were able to keep it going the whole meet."

Sophomore Kayla Nowak
On the team's performance:
"We started off really strong on floor and that's always a big confidence booster, but we've been talking about carrying it throughout the meet.  I would say that after vault, that's when I felt like we were going to be on the rest of the meet.  We were on fire.  It just built all of us up and made us feel like `we can do this, we're going to do this.'"

On the team's season-high-tying bar score:
"It felt really good, especially for me after Big 12s.  It felt good to just be on a roll.  I went in and had to remind myself that I do this in practice all the time and just had to trust what I do all the time."

Utah Head Coach Greg Marsden
Opening statement:
"We're excited to be going back to championships.  It's certainly not getting any easier.  I thought we did a workman's job tonight.  It wasn't easy but we hung in there.  We didn't give anything big away which ultimately was the difference."

On trailing Washington entering the final rotation:
"I knew we were behind by a couple of tenths going into the last rotation, but I felt good.  We are a good bars team.  I felt like they would let you score on bars and I felt like if they continued to do throughout the meet, like they did with us, that the scores would be tight on beam.  So I never felt like we weren't in it or didn't have a good chance to be second.

On Oklahoma's performance:
"Congrats to the University of Oklahoma.  They were spectacular.  It appeared to me that they had the meet that you want to have.  They were just solid on every single event."

On his team's mindset:
"I hope we learn something from this meet and we will relax a little bit more at championships.  I thought we started tight and ended a little bit tight at the end."
