NORMAN, Okla. -- Lon Kruger's Oklahoma men's basketball team was back on the court for its fifth practice of the fall on Wednesday, a spirited two-and-a-half hour workout that featured heavy defensive pressure and an up-tempo pace.

The practice was the second in which the Sooners worked on a full-court press, and Kruger seemed happy with the team's progress on both offense and defense.

Asked Thursday at Big 12 Media Day about the difference in philosophy between this year's OU team and last year's, junior forward Andrew Fitzgerald said, "Tempo and defensive pressure." That's evident in the five-and-a-half minute video above.

Fans are invited to attend OU's practices. The team is scheduled to work out on Friday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Fans attending Saturday's practice should enter Lloyd Noble Center through the southeast doors, next to the Bob and Ann Coleman Men's Basketball Center.
