OU Soccer Totals 18 For Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll

NORMAN, Okla. - Eighteen student-athletes from the University of Oklahoma soccer team made the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll, the conference announced this week. A student-athlete must have a 3.0 GPA or higher for the semester in earn the honors.

Freshman Christi Basgall (university studies), senior Jonette Coquat (psyhchology), junior Jana Cunningham (French), junior Brittany Davis (international studies), junior Krissy Dawson (criminology), junior Jamie Farmer (marketing), freshman Kirstin Karfonta (university studies), freshman Jessica Knehans (university studies), sophomore Ashley Lacey (university studies), junior Emily Land (journalism), sophomore Heidi Martinson (university studies), senior Megan Olsen (pyschology), senior Kate Rusley (marketing), senior Christen Secrest (marketing), senior Jessica Volcansek (Spanish), freshman Catherine Wade (pre-health and sport sciences), junior Shannon Wing (elementary education) and redshirt freshman Erin Young (pre-health and sport sciences) all made the honor roll for the fall 2001 semester.

As a whole, the University of Oklahoma had 219 student-athletes make the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
