Sooners Looking To Build on 2003 Finish
The Oklahoma women's golf team finished tied for 10th with a 936 at the NCAA Central Regional in Lincoln, Neb., May 8-10, 2003. The Sooners recorded a final-round 330 and were just two strokes from finishing eighth which would have given them a bid to the NCAA Championships.
Although the Sooners didn't make it back to the NCAA Championships, there were still many accomplishments. OU had four members named to the Academic All-Big 12 team and Lisa Meldrum was honored as a second-team All-Big 12 member.
