This tournament will give us an opportunity to move up in the rankings, if we play well. I feel it is a definite possiblity for us to finish in the top five at the Fall Preview."

Sooners Looking To Build on 2003 Finish
The Oklahoma women's golf team finished tied for 10th with a 936 at the NCAA Central Regional in Lincoln, Neb., May 8-10, 2003. The Sooners recorded a final-round 330 and were just two strokes from finishing eighth which would have given them a bid to the NCAA Championships.

Although the Sooners didn't make it back to the NCAA Championships, there were still many accomplishments. OU had four members named to the Academic All-Big 12 team and Lisa Meldrum was honored as a second-team All-Big 12 member.
