OU Headington Family Tennis Center
After more than three seasons without a home court, the men's tennis team will break in its new 12-court tennis complex, the OU Headington Family Tennis Center, completed in October of 2001. OU's first match there with Oral Roberts had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, so the first match played in the new tennis center will be on March 28 against Wichita State. The Headington Family Tennis Center is comprised of 12 NCAA Championship courts, NCAA Championship lighting and permanent seating for 800 spectators. The tennis center is just one integral part of the athletic departments Great Expectations: Campaign for Sooner Sports.
