NORMAN, Okla. - Hollis Price, a sophomore point guard on the University of Oklahoma men's basketball team, has been named to the 24/7 U.S. All Stars, a 12-player team comprised of top collegians from around the country that will play in Greece during a 10-day tour in late June and early July.

A member of the Big 12 All-Freshman Team last season when he averaged 7.2 points, a team-high 3.5 assists and 1.4 steals per game for the 27-7 Sooners, Price is one of four Big 12 players on the 24/7 roster. The New Orleans, La., product started 22 games last year, including 20 of the last 21, and averaged 11.9 points and 5.2 assists in the team's final nine outings. He shot .448 from the field, .373 from three-point range and a team-best .833 from the free throw line.

The 24/7 U.S. All Stars will be coached by Texas assistant Rob Lanier. The squad is scheduled to depart from New York City on Thursday, June 22. After two days of practice in Thessaloniki, Greece, the team will play three warmup games versus the Under-20 national team from Greece. The U.S. team will conclude its tour by competing in the Olympus Cup, a three-day tournament against Under-20 national teams from Greece, Slovenia and Yugoslavia June 30-July 2 in Litochoro, Greece.

Other Big 12 players slated to make the trip include Missouri's Josh Kroenke and Texas' Maurice Evans and Chris Ogden.

Oklahoma junior guard J.R. Raymond participated on a team coached by Lanier that toured Greece last summer.
