• Oklahoma led Texas 33-28 at halftime but was outscored 41-25 after the break in a 69-58 home loss.  The defeat was OU’s fifth straight, while the Longhorns’ win was their fourth in a row.

• Texas outscored the Sooners by 19 at the free throw line.  The Longhorns were 24-for-29 while OU was 5-for-8.  In Saturday’s win over Kansas State, UT was 35-for-48 from the foul line while the Wildcats were 8-for-12.

• OU was outscored 21-5 off turnovers tonight.  After committing just three turnovers in the first half that led to just two Texas points, the Sooners racked up 10 turnovers after halftime that led to 19 points.

• Texas’ .385 field goal percentage was the second worst by a Big 12 opponent this year and second worst by an opponent in victory the entire season.

• The Sooners made four more field goals tonight than Texas (24-20).

• After being held to a season-low four points Saturday at Texas Tech, junior guard Steven Pledger responded with 18 points on 8-for-19 shooting tonight.  He added five rebounds and two assists.  Pledger began the night 0-for-6 from the field before making eight of his final 13 attempts.

• A .380 field goal shooter coming into the game, sophomore guard Cameron Clark was 6-for-9 tonight and finished with 13 points (his most in 16 games) and a team-high seven rebounds.  Clark scored 11 of his points in the first half when he was 5-for-7 from the floor.

• Junior point guard Sam Grooms did not score but tied a career high with 10 assists (second time in the last three games).  Grooms has handed out six assists in eight straight games.  Over the last nine games, he is averaging 7.6 assists and 1.6 turnovers (4.9 ratio).  On the year, Grooms leads the Big 12 with his 6.2 assists per game and 3.1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

• Sophomore guard Tyler Neal finished with eight points, his most since also netting eight Dec. 29 at Cincinnati.  He entered the game 1-for-10 from 3-point range in Big 12 play but was 2-for-4 tonight.

• OU is back in action Saturday at Iowa State.  The game will tip at 12:47 and be televised by the Big 12 Network.
