The Games
Oklahoma will travel to Flagstaff, Ariz., this weekend to compete in the NAU Mountain Classic. OU will play UNLV on Saturday and Northern Arizona on Sunday. Both games will begin at 11 a.m. MDT. The Sooners were originally scheduled to play NAU Friday at 7 p.m. and UC-Santa Barbara Sunday at 11 a.m.

Successful Week
OU managed to get through a busy week with a 2-1 mark to give itself three wins in its first four games of 2001.

The Sooners won their season home opener, 5-0, over Oral Roberts last Tuesday. Junior Jennifer Enos spearheaded the OU charge with four points on one goal and two assists. Five different Oklahoma players scored goals in the game.

Three days later, OU registered another home shutout victory, 4-0 over Drury. Sophomore Logan Womack scored two goals and junior Krissy Dawson added two assists for Oklahoma.

The Sooners suffered their first loss of the year on Sunday when undefeated Southern Methodist downed OU, 1-0, in Dallas. The Mustangs' goal, scored off a corner kick, was the first given up by Oklahoma all season.

Defensive Marks
Before SMU's goal Sunday, the Sooners went a school-record 327 minutes without surrending a goal. The team's goals-against average stands at a conference-leading 0.25.

On Friday, Holly Jones scored both of NAU's goals in a 2-1 victory over Cal State Fullerton.

In the championship match, the host school, UC-Irvine, downed the Lumberjacks, 1-0.

This will be the first meeting between Oklahoma and Northern Arizona.

The Rebels are 1-1-2 on the season after four games.

Last weekend, in the San Diego State Tournament, UNLV lost to Kansas, 4-2, and tied South Carolina, 1-1.
