OU Head Coach Kelvin Sampson
On the victory:
"We are 5-1 in the conference. After six games in this conference I am happy to be 5-1. When you come down to it, we are three points away from being undefeated. We won the ball game tonight. Obviously we didn't play as well as we would have liked to. They just kept throwing curve balls and sliders at us and we didn't handle it very well. It is a learning experience. We are happy to be 5-1."

On De'Angelo Alexander:
"Obviously we would like for him to make more than three out of 12, but he came through and made some big baskets down the stretch.

On Ebi Ere:
"I thought Ebi attacked the basket a lot better. It was hard for him not to take threes because he was so wide open. The thing I really liked is that he got to free throw line eight times. I was pleased with the way that Ebi played."

On Big 12 games:
"They are all tough. Whether at home or on the road, they are all tough."

Senior guard Ebi Ere
On OU's backcourt with Quannas on the bench in foul trouble:
"It didn't really have an effect on us since Blake (Johnston) stepped in. He played well. He stepped in and did a good job."

On road game at Kansas State:
"It is a big road game, but every road game is big in this conference because you have to win on the road to take the conference title. We have to go out and play that game as hard as we play every other game."

Senior guard Hollis Price
On playing without Quannas White (foul trouble):
"We found a way to go despite our point guard being out of the game, but Blake has been doing well coming off the bench and giving us a lot of energy. That is what Blake did tonight. We got in foul trouble a lot but we found a way to get the victory."

On Texas A&M's comeback:
"We were up 19 on those guys and a little bit of intensity left us. A good team like A&M is going to make a run at you and that is what they did."

Texas A&M Head Coach Melvin Watkins
On Hollis Price:
"We don't know how to stop him. We just really wanted to make him work for his shots. Good players are hard to stop. He's just a competitor. Nine out of 10 times he is going to make something happen. He is a senior, right? It is time for him to move on. It seems like he has been here for eight years."

Senior Benard King
On Hollis Price:
"We knew we had to stop Hollis. He is the heart and soul of their team. We just wanted to try and make other people make shots. He is a great player."

On Oklahoma:
"They are a good team, No. 7 in the nation. I think they are good but we can beat them. We will give them a better shot when we play them at A&M."
