OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.   The Oklahoma men's basketball team met with media and practiced at Oklahoma City's Ford Center on Wednesday in advance of its Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship opening game against Iowa State on Thursday.  
 
Seniors Nate Carter and Michael Neal joined head coach Jeff Capel for a late morning media conference before hitting the floor at noon for a 40-minute workout.  

OU, which enters the tournament as a No. 9 seed with a 15-14 overall record, tips off at 11:30 a.m. CST.  The Cyclones sport a 15-15 overall record and are the No. 8 seed.  Both teams finished with a 6-10 Big 12 mark.

If the Sooners beat Iowa State they will face No. 1 seed Kansas on Friday at 11:30 a.m.  The championship's semifinals games will be held Saturday at 1 and 3:20 p.m. while Sunday's title game will begin at 2 p.m.
