NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Athletics Department announced today multiple Year of the Fan season ticket initiatives for the 2010-11 men's and women's basketball season to allow more access and rewards for fans.

Men's basketball season ticket holders will see a minimum of a 17 percent savings for seats in the lower level.  Also, 400 seats have been added to the popular upper level sideline season tickets.  Those seats average to just $10 per game, the same as last season.

"Our guys have been really working hard," said men's head coach Jeff Capel.  "They've had a real sense of urgency about them as far as improving as players.  It's a passionate group that will be fun to watch and one that I think our fans will be proud of."

The back-to-back Final Four women's program  is rewarding fans with no price increase for the 2010-11 season.  Head Coach Sherri Coale and the Sooners will host six teams who participated in last year's NCAA Tournament.

"Our schedule is certainly set up in our fans' favor with 19 games at the Lloyd Noble Center," said Coale.  "We have an exciting group of new players and returning veterans that have high expectations after coming off back-to-back Final Four seasons. We expect our fans will, once again, make us one of the best attended programs in the NCAA and know they will support us well as we play through the nation's toughest conference."
