NORMAN, Okla. - Senior Jennifer Stewart reached the 100 win plateau by picking up the win in No. 9 Oklahoma's 3-1 win over Wichita State in the first game of the day in the OU/Worth Invitational on Thursday afternoon. Stewart, who became OU's all-time leader in wins last season, pitched her sixth complete game of the season in holding the Shockers to one hit and one unearned run. After giving up a leadoff single to begin the Shockers' half of the first inning, Stewart only allowed three other batters to reach base in the game courteousy of a walk and two Sooner errors. Oklahoma improved to 18-5 on the year as Wichita State fell to 6-10.

The Sooners got things started with two outs in the first inning. Junior third baseman Leah Gulla (0-for-3) drew a two out walk and was moved around the bases on two consecutive singles, ending with a RBI-single by freshman catcher Christina Enea (1-for-3).

The Sooners were held scoreless until the fifth frame when they plated their final two runs. Junior shortstop Kelli Braitsch (1-for-4) doubled to leadoff the inning before a fly ball to right field and an error on the Wichita State catcher scored her from third. Senior leftfielder Christy Ring (2-for-3) followed Braitsch with a walk, stole second and advanced to third on the error before scoring on a base hit by junior rightfielder Jennifer Stump (2-for-3).

Wichita State scored their lone run in the sixth inning when the Shockers' rightfielder Audrey Walters (0-for-1) walked, was sacrificed to second and scored on a throwing error by Braitsch.
