NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's golf team concluded second-round action at the Ping/Golfweek Preview Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, in 10th place after shooting a team score of 297 (+13). The Sooners have a two-day total of 587 (+19).

OU was led in the second round by senior J.D. Robertson (Little Rock Ark.) improved on his first round 77 firing a season-best 68 to move into 15th place with a two-round total of 145 (+3).

Senior Cody Freeman (Arnett, Okla.) shot a 73 and stands tied for seventh-place with an overall score of 142 (E). Freeman trails tournament leader Ari Savolainen of Florida by five strokes.

Junior Parker Foster (Tulsa, Okla.) and junior John Kidwell (Dallas, Texas) both shot rounds of 78. Foster is currently tied for 44th with a total of 149, while Kidwell has a total score of 151 and is tied for 51st. Freshman Martin Flores (Mansfield, Texas) rounded out the scores for OU with a 79 and is tied for 72nd.

The Sooners will be looking to improve their standing when final-round action begins at 7 a.m. Sunday at The Ohio State University Scarlet Course (7,239 yards, par 71).
