NORMAN, Okla. - Logan Womack and Krissy Dawson scored for OU and the undefeated Sooners dismissed Arizona, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at John Crain Field.

Oklahoma (6-0-0, 0-0-0 Big 12) extended its school-record winning streak to six games with the win over the Wildcats. The Sooners began the weekend by defeating then-No. 18 SMU on Friday night, 1-0.

Under partly cloudy skies and a stiff breeze at John Crain Field on Sunday afternoon, Oklahoma and Arizona fought to a 0-0 stalemate at halftime. But the Sooners charged out in the second half as preseason All-Big 12 forward Logan Womack scored the game-winning goal at 47:23. Womack, a junior from Norman, now has 24 goals in her Sooner career and is on pace to break the career goal record of 26 currently held by former Sooner Jonette Coquat (1998-2001).

Senior forward Krissy Dawson added another unassisted score at 51:21 off a rebound from the Arizona goalkeeper, Amanda Martin. The Sooners had 16 shots with six on goal for the game while the Wildcats finished with nine shots and four on goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Catherine Wade contributed her fourth shutout of the season and, with nine career shutouts, is just three away from breaking the school record for career shutouts (11).

With the 2-0 win over Arizona, the Sooners recorded their fourth straight shutout of the season and fifth in the six games. Oklahoma has outscored its opponents 13-1 and taken 50 more shots (101 to 51.)

"We are a determined team," said head coach Randy Evans. "The leadership provided by our seniors has been outstanding. Our newcomers have really contributed and we're excited about our start. Next weekend will be a huge test."

OU will travel to California to play two of the top three teams in the country next weekend. Oklahoma plays at No. 2 Stanford on Friday and then meets defending national champion and No. 3 Santa Clara on Sunday, Sept. 22. The Sooners return home to open up conference play against Baylor on Friday, Sept. 27.
