Men's Tennis Falls To No. 73 Texas-Arlington

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team was defeated by No. 73 Texas-Arlington, 5-2, today, at the UTA Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas. The Sooners dropped their second road match of the season, and fell to 4-2 on the year. UTA improved to 3-3 on the season.

The Sooners won two singles matches and one doubles match. OU sophomore Sebastien Revol gave No. 5 Andy Leber a tough match at No. 1 singles, but lost, 6-1, 6-3. Juniors Chris Mitchell and Olivier Girardot gave the Sooners their two victories at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, winning 6-1, 6-3, and 6-1, 6-1, respectively. The duo of Brad Prigmore and Revol came away with a 9-8 win over UTA's James Young and Alon Goldshuv at No. 2 doubles.

The Sooners return to action tomorrow against Lamar. Match time with the Cardinals is set for 10 a.m. at the UTA Tennis Center in Arlington, Texas.
