Oklahoma drops to 13-7 on the season and 4-3 in Big 12 Conference play, while Kansas State improves to 19-3 and 6-1.
Today's attendance of 9,139 is the largest crowd of the season and ranks seventh on OU's top 20 list for largest women's basketball crowds inside the Lloyd Noble Center.
Head Football Coach Bob Stoops and family were in attendance today.
Kansas State takes the all-time series record to 22-20 and snaps OU's six-game winning streak against the Wildcats. KSU has not won in Norman since Head Coach Sherri Coale's first season, marking the only time a Wildcat team defeated a team coached by Coale. KSU slid out of town with a 49-47 victory.
Other Big 12 scores - Baylor defeated Iowa State (95-83) in Waco. Nebraska picks up a 73-59 win in Stillwater and Texas Tech defeated Kansas, 84-57, in Lawrence.
Today's 29-point loss marks the largest margin of defeat for the Sooners this season. The previous was 26 points at Tennessee to open the 2002-03 season.
The last time OU lost two-straight games inside the Lloyd Noble Center was during the 1997-98 season when OU fell to Nebraska on Feb. 14 (101-72) and Texas Tech on Feb 19 (94-59).
