Oklahoma improves its overall record to 6-2 and cuts its all-time
series record to 3-4 when playing Stephen F. Austin. The Sooners have won
three straight games against the Ladyjacks.
Oklahoma's Caton Hill and Erin Higgins will have surgery to repair
their torn ACLs on Dec. 19.
Oklahoma improves its home winning streak to 25-consecutive
victories. Iowa State was the last team to defeat OU at the Lloyd Noble
Center on Jan. 6, 2001. The men's basketball team is also on a 25-game home
Stephen F. Austin's Amy Collins (52) had seven blocked shots tying
the school's record for most blocked shots in a game.
Senior Theresa Schuknecht had her second double-double of the season
with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Junior Maria Villarroel has led the Sooners in scoring in four of
the last five games. She grabbed a career high of nine rebounds and has
scored 20 plus points in four of the last five games.
Oklahoma grabbed a season high o48 rebounds while holding Stephen F.
Austin to a season low of 24 rebounds.
Including tonight's game, OU sophomore Dionnah Jackson has dished
out five or more assists in every game except one this season.
