Quickly:Oklahoma (6-2) and Wichita State (4-0) will face each other for the 17th time in the programs history on Monday, Dec. 9, in Wichita, Kan., at 7 p.m. The two teams will play at O'Shaughnessy Hall at Newman University due to renovations being done to Levitt Arena. "The Roudhouse Renaissance" project, which will be known as Charles Koch Arena in the Henry Levitt Complex, will be completed before the start of the 2003-04 season. The Sooners enter Monday's game against Wichita State with a 6-2 record, both losses were to top five teams, while WSU stands at 4-1.

Radio: All of OU's games will be broadcast live on KOMA (1520-AM) and on the Internet at Brian Brinkley will provide the play-by-play and Tara DeGiusti will be the color analyst for Monday's game. Sooner fans may also view the game through GameTracker on OU's website under schedule.

Rankings: Oklahoma - No. 18 AP and USA Today/ESPN Coaches polls. Wichita State - not ranked.

Series Records: Oklahoma leads the all-time series 10-6 and has won the previous two games. The last time WSU defeated OU was in 1999 when the Shockers handed the Sooners a 71-56 loss in Wichita. Wichita State was OU's first post season opponent under current Head Coach Sherri Coale. OU eliminated the Shockers, 75-67, in the first round of the 1999 WNIT hosted by WSU.

Coaches: Sherri Coale (Oklahoma Christian, 1987) is in her seventh season at the helm of the OU women's basketball program. The Healdton, Okla., native directed the Sooners to their first Final Four and national championship game appearance a year ago. Coale also has three Big 12 regular season titles under her belt and owns an overall record of 118-75. (For more information on Coale see page 3).

Darryl Smith (College of Great Falls, 1981) is in his fifth season at Wichita State and 13th season as a head coach. Smith currently boasts an overall record of 65-54 and has coached two teams (1998-1999, 1999-2000) to WNIT post season appearances.
