HEAD COACH SHERRI COALE

On Game:
"We battled better than we did on Tuesday. I was really pleased with the way we came out of the locker room. We had a lot of energy we had a lot of poise. Our execution was excellent. The only thing about the game that really concerns me is that we got pushed around on the boards. We only had two offensive rebounds at halftime."

On Oklahoma's Style of Play:
I think we play a physical game. We were getting great rebounding position in the second half. We did a better job as the game went on, in spinning off of their pressure. We were able to run down loose rebounds."

On Wichita State:
"I thought Wichita State did a really nice job of not folding. I thought they could have packed it up and headed north. I thought they did a real nice job of continuing to play hard and making big plays and hanging around."

GUARD STACEY DALES:
"We played well together tonight. It was a physical game and yet there was a lot of emotion from each player on our bench. Our bench played the best it has all year."

FORWARD CATON HILL:

On Buckner:
"She gets really low and she powers you under. On her free throw block outs she gets very low. I think our guards did a lot better job in helping us out. We were getting pushed in and they dropped out and got rebounds over her."

On Game:
"I had a sense of urgency, not to score, but to be smart about fouls and rebounds."

Wichita State Quotes

Head Coach Daryl Smith

On Game: "First of all, Oklahoma is certainly the real deal and we knew that before we came. I thought we had a great game plan. If you look at the two teams I think the difference is very evident. Their ability to shoot the ball and their ability to execute fundamentals. I thing that if I counted in my head right they hit their first 10 shots. I think that if we would have done the simple things it would have been a better game."

On Stacey Dales:
That's how good she is. She wasn't anything more than she normally is. I've seen her play a lot and if you look at the type of players we are able to recruit and bring to our program, we have to teach kids to pass like that. She obviously has learned to play the game and understands those things.

CENTER ANGELA BUCKNER
"I was going for every loose ball I could, just trying to get the rebound. In the second half, they focused more on me than they did in the first half."
