NORMAN, Okla.--The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team will host the Southern Illinois Salukis Friday night in their first home match of 2007.

The Sooners are 2-1 on the season with their lone loss against Oklahoma State, a close 4-3 decision. After a week break, Oklahoma is ready to return to play.

"We're exicted to get back out on the courts again and compete against a fine Southern Illinois," OU Head Coach Paul Lockwood said. "We have had a good week of practice and look forward to the challenge."

The Sooners and the Salukis will square off at 7:15 p.m. at the Greens Country club in Oklahoma City. Results will be posted on SoonerSports.com at the conclusion of competition.
