OREBRO, Sweden - Five players scored in double figures as the Big 12 All-Stars won the final game of its Scandinavian tour with an 84-54 victory over the Nerike Basketball Club. The All-Stars finished the tour with a 5-1 record.

Oklahoma's Phylesha Whaley and Texas' JoRuth Woods led the team with 14 points each.

Kansas' Jaclyn Johnson finished with 11 points, while Oklahoma State's Devon Magness and Kansas State's Nicky Ramage each poured in 10. Texas A&M's Prissy Sharpe was the leading rebounder with eight boards.

Nerike held close in the first half, trailing by only nine at halftime after shooting 40.7 percent in the first period. However, the All-Stars buckled down on defense in the second half, limiting Nerike to just 32.4 percent from the floor in the second stanza. The Big 12 also forced 31 turnovers by the home team.

"This was a wonderful trip," said Woods, whose mother was the only parent to come along. "It was new and different going to different cities. As far as the game tonight is concerned, I was glad we won our last game, but I really wanted to go 6-0. The team we played tonight was good, but I thought there would be a lot better competition. They're not as good as teams back home because they haven't been coached like we have. After all, they're only club teams."

Nerike trailed 49-42 with 14:07 remaining in the game, but the All-Stars went on a 21-6 run over the next five minutes to pull away. OSU's Jennifer Crow had a pair of three-pointers during the run, while Woods added six points of her own during the span.

"I thought this was one of the best things I've ever done as a collegiate athlete," said Nebraska's Cori McDill. "It was a great way to finish up a great four years at the University of Nebraska. "My only regret is that I won't be able to play against my new friends next year."

The Big 12 finished its European averaging 89.7 points per game in the six contests. The team will return to Dallas Sunday night with players returning to their respective schools on Monday.
