Norman, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's golf team has been ranked the 11th team in the country according to Golf World's College Golf Coaches' Poll. Sophomore Martin Flores was also named to the Golf World '50 College Players to Watch' list.

Flores and the rest of the Sooners got off to very good start last weekend at The Ridges Intercollegiate in Johnson City, Tenn., finishing in third place with a score of 857 (-7). As an individual, Flores tied for third place firing a career-low round of 67 in the first round and finished the tournament with a score of 207 (-9). It was the second top-five finish of his career as at OU.

Oklahoma will continue its fall schedule next Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 17-18) at the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, Ohio.
