Waco, Texas - The University of Oklahoma women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to 21st-ranked Baylor, Friday afternoon at the Streich Tennis Center. This dropped the Sooners to a 7-7 overall, while Baylor improved to 14-1.

Senior duo, Angela Stroup and Viviana Mracnova, picked up the only win in doubles at the No. 1 slot defeating Andersson/Borjesson, 8-5. In singles, freshman Annette Bryntesson defeated Karin Andersson, 1-6, 7-6, 6-3, at the No. 4 singles. This makes four consecutive wins for Bryntesson.

The Sooners next match is against state rival, Oklahoma State, this Wednesday, March 29, in Norman. The match time is set for 1:30 p.m.
