Price Helps U.S. All-Stars to Olympus Cup Title

NORMAN, Okla. - Sophomore men's basketball player Hollis Price helped the 24/7 USA All-Stars capture the Olympus Cup title during round-robin play June 30-July 2 in Litochoro, Greece. The point guard averaged 6.0 points and a team-best 3.0 steals for the 12-member group of U.S. collegians.

After playing several scrimmage and exhibition games during the early portion of its trip, 24/7 opened Cup play against the Slovenia Under-20 National Team with an 82-70 victory. The Americans then defeated the Greek Under-20 National Team by a 77-73 score and the Greek Under-18 National Team by an 83-73 count.

Price, a member of the Big 12 All-Freshman Team last season, shot .556 from the field (5-for-9) and .800 from the free throw line (8-for-10) while also averaging 1.3 rebounds per game during the three-game event. He recorded six steals in the team's win against the Greek Under-20 nationals.

Villanova's Michael Bradley earned tournament MVP honors after averaging 15.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per outing. The 24/7 squad was coached by Texas assistant Rob Lanier.
