Oklahoma improved to 15-2 overall and 4-0 in the Big 12, matching Baylor for the best record in the league.  The Sooners have started 4-0 in the Big 12 four previous times and won at least a share of the Big 12 Championship in each of those seasons (2000, 2002, 2006 and 2007).

Colorado was OU’s 10th opponent held under 60 points.  The Sooners have held each of its Big 12 opponents under 60.

Courtney Paris recorded her 109th consecutive double-double.  It was Paris’ 114th double-double in 117 career games.

Whitney Hand has made at least one 3-pointer in eight consecutive games and at least two in nine of 17 games this season.

It was Hand’s sixth straight game in double-figure scoring and the seventh in her last eight games.

Hand’s seven rebounds were a career single-game high.

Oklahoma’s 10-0 run in the first half helped it come from a 7-13 deficit (11:51 remaining) to a 17-13 lead (lasting to 8:40).

Oklahoma trailed 31-33 at 18:16 remaining in the second half, but used a 16-0 run lasting 5:32 to lead 47-33.  That was the Sooners 26th scoring run of 10 or more unanswered points this season.

The 28-28 halftime score was the first time Oklahoma had been tied with an opponent entering the break this season.  OU led in 13 games and trailed in three prior to Wednesday’s game.
