NORMAN, Okla. - The Oklahoma Sooners (10-10, 0-3 Big 12) host their third match in as many days at the Headington Family Tennis Center on Sunday when the No. 14 Baylor Bears (16-7, 2-0 Big 12) visit Norman. The match is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
"Baylor is an extremely talented team and we will need to come prepared and ready to battle tomorrow," head coach Paul Lockwood said.
In their last outing, the Sooners defeated UT-Arlington 6-1, and East Central 7-0, at the Headington Family Tennis Center on April 10.
"We gained a lot from our two victories on Friday but this is going to be a real test for our guys. This is the biggest home match we will have this season and we look forward to the opportunity that is in front of us," Lockwood added.
Last season Baylor defeated Oklahoma twice. The first match was played in Waco and the Bears won 5-2. The second meeting was at the Big 12 Championships in Kansas City and Baylor came out on top, 4-1.
