NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma Sooners (6-9-3 overall and 2-6-1 Big 12) will conclude the 2007 season this Thursday, Nov. 1 at No. 25 Oklahoma State (11-5-2, 4-4-1).    OU was eliminated from the Big 12 Championship with last Sunday's loss to then-No. 8 Texas.

The Ford Bedlam Series is slated for a 7 p.m. start at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex in Stillwater, Okla.  Oklahoma State leads the Annual Bedlam Series, 1-0, after both cross country teams finished ahead of OU at the 2007 Big 12 Championships last weekend in Lubbock, Texas.

The Cowgirls suffered a 1-0 loss on Sunday in their last outing at home against Colorado.  Two days earlier, OSU defeated its third top-10 opponent of the season in a 1-0 win over then-No. 8 Texas.   The Cowgirls also defeated then-No. 9 Notre Dame, 2-1, on Sept. 16 and then-No. 5 Missouri, 2-1, on Oct. 14.  OSU is 3-2 in its last five games and 7-2-1 overall at home this season.

The Cowgirls are outscoring their opponents, 33-14 (Big 12 opponents hold a 11-9 advantage), this season and are led by midfielder Kasey Langdon.  The sophomore leads the club in points with four goals and seven assists.

OSU returns 14 letterwinners and eight starters from a 2006 squad that finished 17-3-3 overall and tied for second in the Big 12 with a 8-1-1 mark.

The Sooners and Cowgirls have played in 11 straight games decided by one goal or less.  OSU leads the all-time series, 9-2-1, and won both contests in 2006; the regular season meeting in Norman, 2-1, and the 2-1 win at the Big 12 Championship in San Antonio, Texas.  OU won the last time the two met in Stillwater, a 3-2 victory on Oct. 28, 2005.
