NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma baseball team’s Big 12 opener against Baylor this Friday, March 24 was moved to 3 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
The contest, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., has been moved due to expected cold weather conditions in Norman.
No. 19 Oklahoma enters the three-game series with an 18-5 mark, while No. 21 Baylor is 15-6 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 play.
The series continues on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. and the three-game set will conclude on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Baylor owns a 27-23 advantage in the all-time series. In the last 10 meetings, the Sooners are 4-6 against the Bears. During the 2005 series in Waco, Baylor took the opener (5-3) and the finale (6-2) after falling in game two (5-2). In Big 12 play, Baylor holds a 15-12 advantage and when the series is played in Norman, OU is 14-5.
