NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooner soccer team (4-4-1, 0-1 Big 12) looks to bounce back on Sunday against Baylor (7-2-1, 0-1 Big 12) after falling in the conference opener two days ago to Texas Tech.

Sunday's match is slated to get underway at 5 p.m. at the OU Soccer Complex.

The Bears lead the Big 12 in scoring with 32 goals but dropped their conference opener on Friday at Oklahoma State, 2-1. Baylor won 9-0 against Prairie View A&M last weekend at home and is led by Lisa Sliwinksi with six goals. Goalkeeper Courtney Seelhorst and the Bears’ defense have posted eight shutouts.

Baylor returns eight starters from the 2009 team that finished 8-6-5 overall and tied for seventh in the Big 12 at 3-4-3.

OU is unbeaten in the last three series meetings with the Bears and leads 6-4-3 all-time (4-1-3 at home). The two concluded the 2009 regular season with a 0-0 tie after 110 minutes of action. Including last season, nine of the 13 meetings have been decided by one goal or less with the Sooners holding a 4-2-3 lead in that situation.
