NORMAN, Okla. -- Due to inclement weather that is scheduled to hit Norman Wednesday, April 6, the Oklahoma men’s tennis (14-3) match against 37th-ranked Tulsa (14-8) has been moved to Thursday, April 7 at 2 p.m.
The women’s tennis team is also scheduled to compete Wednesday against Wichita State but that match could be moved as well.
Admission is still FREE to all OU Headington Family Tennis Center matches.
OU has not faced Tulsa since 2000, when the Sooners split the two-match duals with the Golden Hurricane 1-1. OU owns a 27-10 all-time regular season series record against the Golden Hurricane.
Oklahoma has a perfect 5-0 record when playing Region V opponents this season. OU has won 27 of 30 regional singles matches and 11 of 15 doubles matches. The Sooners have only dropped three points out of a possible 35 to regional foes.
