SEATTLE – The fifth-ranked Oklahoma women’s gymnastics team collected its fourth win over a ranked opponent Friday after beating No. 16 Washington in Seattle, 196.175-195.100.

Oklahoma (7-0) remains undefeated in 2011 after scoring a season-high 196.175 for the third time this year.

The Sooners won all four team event titles for the third time in the last four meets against the Huskies and won at least a share of three of the four individual event titles.

Natasha Kelley took home the bars and beam titles with a 9.85 on both events while Stone shared the vault title with UW’s Haley Bogart with a 9.9. OU trailed the Huskies by one-tenth following the first rotation. The Sooners started on bars, posting a team score of 48.950.

OU finished the rotation with three-straight scores of 9.8 or higher, capped by Kelley’s 9.85 from the anchor position.

The Sooners scored a season-high 49.175 on vault to take the lead after two rotations, 98.125-97.650. Stone led the team on the event from the anchor spot with her first 9.9 of the season.

OU also added three additional scores of 9.8 or higher from Melanie Root (9.8), Brie Olson (9.825) and Kelley (9.875).

OU extended its lead to 147.150-146.325 heading into the final rotation after scoring a 49.025 on floor.

Nowak posted a 9.85 from the fifth-position on the event. The sophomore has led the team and scored a 9.85 or higher on floor in all five of OU’s meets this season.

Ferguson and Stone both added a 9.825 on floor for the Sooners. Ferguson and Stone have both scored a 9.8 or higher on the apparatus in four of OU’s five meets.

Oklahoma ended on beam against the Huskies with a score of 49.025, OU entered the meet ranked No. 2 in the country on the event.

Kelley led the team on beam with a 9.85 on the apparatus. With the score, the redshirt-sophomore has scored a 9.8 or higher on eleven routines overall this year and is the only Sooner to score a 9.9 on two separate events.

OU added three more scores of 9.8 or higher from Ferguson (9.825), Madison Mooring (9.8) and Taylor Spears (9.8) on beam to seal the victory over Washington.

The Sooners will compete in their fourth road meet in four weeks next Sunday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m., as OU faces Nebraska for its first Big 12 competition of 2011 in Lincoln.
