WEATHERFORD, Texas - The Texas Collegiate League announced the complete rosters and starters for the 2006 Brookshire’s McCormick All-Star Game earlier this week, which will take place next Monday, July 10 at Roger Williams Ballpark in Weatherford, and two current Sooners and one signee made the rosters.

Sophomore Brandon Moss (Euless Stars), who has played both catcher and first base this summer, earned a spot and is hitting .267 with three doubles and seven RBI.  Senior Matt Lovelady (Weatherford Wrangles) has made six appearances without a decision.  The right-hander does have a save and a 1.54 ERA over 11 2/3 innings pitched.

In addition, OU signee Aljay Davis (Denton Outlaws), a second basemen, leads the league in runs scored (24) and ranks second in the league in hits (32) and RBI (18).

The Denton Outlaws have a high of nine All-Stars on the Rogers Hornsby Division roster with the Mineral Wells Steam having seven representatives on the 26-man team. The Graham Roughnecks and Weatherford Wranglers each have five All-Stars.

On the Tris Speaker Division roster, the Coppell Copperheads have eight representatives. The Euless LoneStars have six representatives. The Duncanville Deputies and the McKinney Marshals each have five, and the Plano Blue Sox have three.

The rosters and starting lineups for each division were selected by the head coaches in that respective division. The starting designated hitters and pitchers will be chosen by the All-Star Head Coaches, who will come from the team with the best record in each division through games of July 9.

The Brookshire’s McCormick All-Star Game begins at 7:35 p.m. and will be televised live by Fox Sports Net Southwest. There will be a pre-game Home Run Derby sponsored by Compass Bank and a post-game Fireworks Show sponsored by Durant Toyota.
