Men's Tennis Team Is 1-1 In Hawaiian Action

NORMAN, Okla. - After two days of competition in Hawaii, the Oklahoma men's tennis team is 1-1 with a 9-0 win over Chaminade and a 6-1 loss to Hawaii on Monday and Tuesday of this week, respectively. The Sooners are now 6-5 overall.

Oklahoma started strong against Hawaii with a doubles win, but dropped all six singles matches. Juniors Chris Mitchell and Matt Ogle teamed up for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 doubles, moving their season record to 5-1. Sophomore Sebastien Revol and freshman Brad Prigmore improved their doubles record to 4-2 after defeating Jorge Gonzalez and Kai Ohuchi at No. 3 doubles, 8-5. Individual results from the Chaminade match were not available at time of release.

The Sooners are back in action today at 2 p.m. against Idaho in Honolulu, and finish up the week with an 8 a.m. match with Wisconsin-Green Bay on Thursday before heading back to the mainland.
