Men's Basketball Awards Handed Out At Team Banquet

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's basketball team held its annual awards banquet tonight at Lloyd Noble Center on Bruce Drake Court inside the practice facility. The Sooners and hundreds of fans shared in dinner, laughs, award presentations, a video presentation and a reflection on the regular season.

Ten awards were presented in categories ranging from Most Improved Player to the Tight White Award (given to a valuable scout team player).

Oklahoma, ranked sixth in the latest AP and ESPN/USA Today polls, is the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The Sooners earned a first-round bye and will play Friday at 8:20 p.m. against the winner of Thursday's Colorado (No. 6 seed) versus Kansas (No. 11 seed) contest. The Sooners are 21-6 overall and finished 12-4 in conference play.

Mr. Hustle Award: Hollis Price, Quannas White
Outstanding Player Award: Hollis Price
Outstanding Senior Award: Ebi Ere, Hollis Price, Jozsef Szendrei, Quannas White, Noah DeLeon (mgr.), Josh Moser (mgr.)
