COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The No. 17 Oklahoma women’s golf team finished in fourth place with a 607 after two rounds at the Big 12 Championships in College Station, Texas.
Sunday's third round was cancelled due to heavy rain. The Sooners recorded a 299 during Friday's first round and a second-round 308 on Saturday.
The University of Texas was declared the champion with its two-round score of 592. The Big 12 Championships were held at the 6,242-yard, par-72 Pebble Creek Golf Course.

Senior Lisa Meldrum, a 2004 first-team all-conference member, finished tied for fourth place with a two-round total of 147 (+3). Senior Hope Edge tied for 10th with a 149 (+5) while junior Emily Milberger tied for 25th with a two-round total of 154 (+10). Freshman Jaclyn Stelzer tied for 39th with a 157(+13). One stroke behind was sophomore Amparo Gala tied for 43rd after carding a two-round total of 158 (+14).
The NCAA will announce the regional fields on Monday. If selected, the Sooners will play in the NCAA Central Regional May 6-8 in Normal, Ill. The top eight teams at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships May 18-21 in Auburn, Ala.
