NORMAN, Okla. - A limited number of University of Oklahoma men's and women's basketball season tickets are still available to the public.

With men's home games against UConn, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas and several other quality opponents, season tickets are not expected to be available for long. A very limited number of Sooner Saver and Youth tickets remain and are a great value for families with season ticket prices starting as low as $125 in those areas.

The OU men play their first exhibition game Nov. 9 against Global Sports and open their home regular season Nov. 22 against UC Irvine in the Sooner Invitational.

A limited number of women's reserved season tickets remain and are priced at $85 - a 40 percent discount off the regular adult admission price. The women's 2002-03 schedule is challenging with 6 teams from last year's NCAA Tournament field visiting the Lloyd Noble Center. Opponents include Texas Tech, Texas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Iowa State and Missouri. Tickets are also available for the NCAA Tournament first and second round games to be held in Norman at the Lloyd Noble Center March 23 and 25.

The Sooner women start their exhibition season Nov. 5 against Oklahoma Christian and play their first regular season home game Nov. 26 against Sam Houston State.
