Soccer Splits a Pair of Home Spring Games

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooners hosted a full slate of games on March 26 with five contests played between five in-state teams.  The Sooners split their two games, winning a 3-1 contest over UCO and falling 1-0 to Tulsa.

In the first game of the day, the Sooners and UCO played a pair of 30-minute halves. OU scored two goals in the first five minutes of game and iced the game later in the second half. 

Samantha Howell, Caitlin Mooney and Annalisa Hall tallied goals in the victory while Dria Hampton and Michelle Alexander recorded assists.

In game two, which also featured two 30-minute halves, the Sooners and Golden Hurricane were scoreless until Tulsa scored in the final two minutes of the game.
