NORMAN, Okla. - Due to poor field conditions, Friday's scheduled Oklahoma baseball season opener against Oklahoma Baptist has been moved to Monday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. Recent inclement weather in the Norman area has prevented the field from being playable. The Sooners, who are ranked No. 15 in Collegiate Baseball and No. 19 in the Baseball Weekly/ESPN poll, will now open their season on Saturday versus Oklahoma City. The contest is scheduled for 1 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
OU and OCU will also square off for the second of two games on Sunday at 1 p.m. at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
