COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The University of Oklahoma women's gymnastics team defeated the Missouri Tigers tonight, 195.000-193.900, at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The Sooners claimed the top spot in all events as their season record moved to 10-1 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 action.

OU's Amber McCracken, the reigning Big 12 Gymnast of the Week, garnered her third all-around title of the year by scoring a 39.350, while teammates Leticia Ishii (39.100) and Ginger Russell (38.950) followed for second and third-place all-around honors. McCracken also took first place in three of four events by scoring a 9.850 on both the uneven parallel bars and vault and by posting a 9.925 in the floor exercise. With a 9.775, Russell tied three Missouri gymnasts for the balance beam title. OU senior Shanna Sanders' performance (9.825) on the uneven parallel bars tied Ishii for second place in the event. Ishii also placed second on the vault, while Russell took third place (9.750).

The Sooners are back in action Monday, March 6, when they travel to Cedar City, Utah, to face Southern Utah. Competition begins at 7 p.m. MST.
