OU Men's Golfers Tied For 10th At Long Cove Invitational

The University of Oklahoma men's golf team concluded first round action at the Long Cove Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C., tied for 10th place with Arizona State. The Sooners finished out the day with a team score of 299 (+15) at the par-71, 7,026-yar Long Cove Golf Course.

OU was led by seniors Cody Freeman (Arnett, Okla.) and J.D. Robertson (Little Rock, Ark.), who each carded first-round scores of 74 (+3).

One shot behind the pair of seniors is OU junior John Kidwell (Dallas, Texas), who is tied for 32nd with eight other golfers. Sophomore Martin Flores (Mansfield, Texas) and junior Parker Foster (Tulsa, Okla.) finished out the scoring for Oklahoma with identical scores of 76 and stand tied for 40th.

The Sooners will begin second-round action Saturday morning.
