Head Coach Sherri Coale
On Oklahoma's play
"It wasn't pretty. I almost feel like we should apologize to our fans for the way that we performed. Twenty-six turnovers is not characteristic of our basketball team. There are 20 different things you could blame it on but I'm not going to give these guys or myself any way out of it. We didn't play as well as we should. We had a great spurt at the end of the first half, a thirty-point lead at halftime, but in the second half we didn't play against the game. We were very lucky we had a thirty-point lead we could coast."
On LaNeishea Caufield
"Neish (Caufield) has a great first step, an uncanny ability to get to the rim and finish strong and she had the opportunity to do that over and over and over tonight and that's why her numbers shot up so quick. I'm not trying to take anything away from here perimeter game either. She hit some nice open jumpers too on the perimeter, it wasn't all lay-ups but that's her thing. She gets to the rim and she's really good at it."
Guard LaNeishea Caufield
On her career high 33 points
" I'm happy but I know there are quite a few things I missed in the game. I couldn't have done it without my teammates, opening up lanes and making the extra pass. It was as much them as it was me."
