Back-to-back singles by Dani Dobbs and Karolyne Long gave Oklahoma two runners aboard with two outs in the bottom of the sixth. The pair scored on a double to right center by Haley Anderson. Anderson then scored on a Flores single up the middle.

Vandever scored Flores on a double to center and following a KU pitching change, Nix walked on four straight pitches to load the bases. Pinch hitter Wendy Trott then drew a walk to bring in Shults for the seventh run of the game.
